The patch of the Calhoun County, Alabama, Sheriff's Office depicts a mountain scene with the motto “Foothills of the Appalachians.” Residents enjoy many scenic views of these mountains, particularly across the eastern sections of the county in Talladega National Forest and now-closed Fort McClellan. This patch has been in use since the mid-1990s and was formerly worn with matching division-specific rockers below the main patch.
