University of Central Florida Police Department

The patch of the University of Central Florida Police Department in Orlando, Florida, features a black background outlined in gold. In the center is a depiction of the mythological winged horse Pegasus. Colloquially known as “SpaceU,” the university is celebrated for innovation in space technology, thus their motto, “Reach for the stars.” This motto is symbolized by the star above Pegasus. The university was founded in 1963.
