The Village of Mamaroneck, New York, Police Department patch features a navy blue background with gold borders and white lettering. It bears the village seal, depicting the historic Stone Bridge over the flowing Mamaroneck River. Two women clasping hands on the bridge symbolize the union between the Towns of Rye and Mamaroneck, both of which carved out portions to create the Village of Mamaroneck, which spans the river. A beehive to the left of the bridge represents industry, and a horn of plenty to the right denotes prosperity. The Village of Mamaroneck was incorporated in 1895.
