The Bay View, Ohio, Police Department’s patch is an outline of the state of Ohio with a dot in the top center indicating the village’s location. This patch is a tribute to American Indians because a variety of tribes have lived in Bay View, and their history is a fundamental part of the community. Notably, Bay View’s streets all have Native American names and/or historic significance.
