The Concord, North Carolina, Police Department patch features the city seal, which represents Concord as a major textile center for the country in the 1800s. Pictured are two southern gentlemen and a southern belle, along with cloth and a loom. On the sides of the seal are the North Carolina and U.S. flags. As indicated at the bottom, Concord was established in 1796.
