Flagler Beach, Florida, is a small beachside community on a barrier island on the Atlantic Ocean, 25 miles north of Daytona Beach. Its iconic pier, pictured on the Flagler Beach Police Department’s patch, is the city’s chief tourist attraction. Thousands of tourists and fishermen visit the pier each year.
