The District Police Department’s patch, on a black background with a red trim — the department’s colors — displays an outline of the state of Texas. The inside of the state is colored red, white and blue to represent the Texas state flag. Gold lettering indicates the names of the department, school district and city. A matching gold star represents Odessa, the location of the agency.
